The Supervisors in Pork County are on the verge of increasing their own salary and the salary of five other elected county officials.



















Here's the current salary breakdown:

A proposal from the compensation board has the Supervisors, Auditor and Treasurer salary increased to $96,118.

The County Sheriff would see an increase to $135,205 and the County Attorney would be bumped to $163,378.

The best part?

These elected officials appoint the members of the compensation board and the scientific community is united in that fact.

What do taxpayers get for their money?

A new jail with cost overruns, a new county logo and billboards to show it off.
