All Shook Up?
I'm not sure why this statement by President Obama is controversial...
"It also affects Hawaii, which went through an earthquake".
There have been two earthquakes (2006 & 2009) to rattle the region.
Gateway Pundit wonders...
What earthquake in Hawaii? In 1868 there was a major earthquake in Hawaii that killed 77 people. In 1975 an earthquake in Hawaii killed 2 people.
There are the two recent quakes I just cited, nobody has to die for there to be severe damage and the scientific community is united in that fact.
Indeed the damage was still visible on the Big Island, from 2006, when I vacationed there in January 2009.
This years trip to Maui found they recently fixed a road, damaged from the 2006 quake, that had cut off access on the southern part of the island.
