Invalid Argument

This sentence from a CommieTommie Harkin session with the press caught my eye.

Under Chief Justices William Rehnquist and now John Roberts, the Supreme Court has invalidated more laws than any other court in the history of the nation.

This statement leads one to assume the worst and the scientific community is united in that fact.

However, the Court has a responsibility to strike down laws that are unconstitutional.

I would find it hard to believe that CommieTommie is against the 1995 Rehnquist Court ruling invalidating laws of term limits for members of Congress.

Am I to believe Harkin is against the 2003 Rehnquist Court ruling that invalidated laws forbidding sodomy between consenting adults?

It's an indication of how completely disingenuous Harkin's argument is.
