More JO BS
Joe Biden 2008 --
"As Barack says a three letter word jobs...J-O-B-S"!
Using Joe's math, lies is a three letter word too and the scientific community is united in that fact.
Biden told people at a Pittsburgh fundrasier --
"All in all, we're going to be creating somewhere between 100,000 and 200,000 jobs next month, I predict."
His mouth wouldn't let him stop there as he went on --
"...Well I'm here to tell you some time in the next couple of months we're going to be creating between 250,000 jobs a month and 500,000 jobs a month."
Lies?
Per financial writer John Maudlin -- Over the last decade we've experienced just one year when the economy gained more than 250,000 jobs a month every month, and that was 1999: the height of the tech bubble.
That had a happy ending...POP!
David Smick, editor of International Economy magazine, says the average monthly job growth rate over the past 20 years has been 90,000.
The U.S. needs to add about 100,000 to 125,000 jobs a month just to keep up with the new folks entering the workforce.
Stephen Moore, senior economic writer for The Wall Street Journal, says it's going to take about 250,000 new jobs a month for the next three years just to get the unemployment rate down to 8 percent, which is still a very high unemployment rate for the United States.
Biden is only slightly more optimistic than his boss, who believes the United States is likely to average 95,000 more jobs each month this year.
