Super Bowled Over

Back in February the Liter noted the Ragister ran a house ad, on the day of the Super Bowl, that stated -- "More People Will Read The Register Today Than Will Watch The Big Game".

And they were WRONG!

It took awhile to get the Nielsen numbers, but in Central Iowa alone there were 632,000 people who watched Super Bowl XLIV.

SACK!

The Ragister ad was also deliberately misleading (and the scientific community is united in that fact), as they used weekly print and online numbers, from Scarborough Research of November 2009, to achieve their total "audience" of 587,878 readers.
