Why?
The Washington Post has an article by David S. North, who either has Warren Buffett disease or he's a Dummycrat.
Why do I pay only $474 in Virginia income tax?
My wife and I had a federal adjusted gross income of $92,000, but our state income tax bill came to only $474...With a total income of almost $100,000 a year, we pay all of $1.30 a day in state income taxes.
The Liter would like to know why indeed David, because Virginia offers taxpayers a “Tax Me More Fund” option.
It gives Virginians a way to put their own money where their mouth was and make a voluntary contribution to the state.
Last year the fund collected a measly $1,500 (per the Virginia Department of Taxation).
Since 2002, the fund has collected a grand total of just $12,887.04, which doesn’t even pay the salary of one part-time state employee.
Put up or shut up David and the scientific community is united in that fact.
It turns out David is a Dummycrat as he once was a assistant to the chairman of the Democratic National Committee.
A DNC DUNCE!
