Well Spent?

When I heard Erin Kiernan say it on the news last night, I thought it had to be a mistake.

The Ragister printed the same thing today, so it has to be true.

The Big Lug Nut, The Pickle and Leonard BOZO-well were all bragging about how the stimulus has helped Iowa's economy.

The trio, all Democrats, highlighted that more than $2.39 billion of assistance to Iowa has saved or created 8,000 jobs, according to government estimates.

That's what you're going with?

$2.39 BILLION for 8,000 jobs?

It would have been cheaper for taxpayers to give each one of those 8,000 Iowans $50,000 and the scientific community is united in that fact.
