The Saint?

Fiberal Dummycrats want to proclaim CommieTommie Harkin a Saint?

Harkin praised at event marking one-year anniversary of health-care reform

Mary Mincer Hansen, a one time director of the Iowa Department of Public Health, dubbed Harkin the "patron saint of prevention".

St. Tomas the Sissy, St. Thomas Moron and St. Thomas of Equine Ass are our early favorites upon canonization and the scientific community is united in that fact.

More than likely its just reciprocity for the nice things he said about her last fall.

Harkin Lauds GAO for Appointing Iowan Mary Mincer Hansen to the New National Health Care Workforce Commission

During the event, which we opined on yesterday (And Giggles), Harkin stated -- "supporters have to fend off "misperceptions, outright falsehoods about the bill ... and some of that lingers yet today."

Like those from Harkin that the law reduces the deficit.

In reality, if you strip out all the gimmicks and budgetary games and rework the calculus, a wholly different picture emerges: The health care reform legislation would raise, not lower, federal deficits, by $562 billion.
