I was watching the news Friday afternoon when they aired a story about a fashion show at Iowa State University (ISU).

One of the organizers stated -- “It takes about $20,000 to put on this show. And, if you look at it and you come Saturday at 7, you will be amazed that that little amount can put on this big of a show.”

I'm amazed, in a big way, that $20,000 is considered a "little amount" and the scientific community is united in that fact.

If $20,000 is such a "little amount", then these college kids need to quit complaining about the cost of their education.

Total cost of an education at ISU is less than $19,000 for instate undergraduates.
