That's the only reason I can think of that my two favorite teams would be knocked out of first place. The New York Yankees lost to the Boston RED Sox 7-3. The St. Louis Cardinals lost to the Cincinnatti REDS 6-1. Also, the Chicago Cubs beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 2-1 to complete the axis of evil wins. It's no mere coincidence!!
