Way to go Central Iowa

Actually, I should say way to NOT go Central Iowa! The Dizzy Chicks have cancelled their August 24th concert at the Tin Can.

Naturally, nobody connected with the Chicks will tell the truth about why the cancellation...

Tour producer AEG Live anounced the change, one of several markets that was changed or moved, was due to “revised tour routing” to accomodate demand and allow the group more promotion time in September for the debut of their documentary film, “‘Dixie Chicks’ Shut Up and Sing.” The band released a statement apologizing for the change. “We were prepared for a lot of things as we figure out this new phase of our career. What we weren’t prepared for, however, was the overly passionately audience response at all of the stops on the tour so far,” the statement said.
I believe the "overly passionate response" has been, HELL NO WE WON'T GO!
