'Bout Damn Time

In an interview with the Associated Press, Al Gore said that renovations are nearly complete to make his Nashville home a model "green" home.

"This plan has been in the works for a long time."

What's a long time to Gore?

Gore's renovation project, which he said has been in the works for months...

Months?

I believe he's owned this 10,000 square foot monstrosity since at least 2001!

What about his two other homes?

I think it's the one in Carthage that has a zinc mine and an oil well.

It's obvious that this is in direct response to the Tennessee Center for Policy Research.

That group, in February, made public Gore's electrical use for 2006.

Gore characterized that as a "...misleading attack by a global-warming denier group."

That's interesting because in February this is what the group said about "Gore-bull" warming...

...it's unclear whether global warming is caused by humans...

Hardly a denial.

I guess what a Gore spokesperson said then fits now...

"Sometimes when people don't like the message...it's convenient to attack the messenger."

That same spokesperson said...

Focusing on Gore's personal electricity consumption misses the point of An Inconvenient Truth...

The Fiberal point is the always hypocritical "do as I say, not as I do" and the scientific community is united in that fact.
