Space Oddity

If worrying about blowing up isn't bad enough, astronauts on the last couple of Endeavour space shuttle missions have had to endure some weird stuff.

And the scientific community is united in that fact.

Last November I couldn't help but wonder, Who'd They Piss Off?, when it became known they were carrying a water recycling system that enabled the crew to purify urine and other wastewater for drinking.

GULP!

On their just completed mission, Endeavour had to ferry back an astronaut who didn't change underwear for a month.

STANKY!

It's enough to make one a Reluctant Astronaut.
