Superman (It's Not Easy)

If you had doubts, this should confirm the Big Lug Nut is in over his head.

Culver: 'Governing is hard. Campaigning is fun ... and I'm ready to hit the ground running'

Said the man who wanted the $130,000 a year job, that includes transportation & housing, and has been at the helm during the worst job losses in this state in nearly 24 years.

I'm sure all the 114,600 estimated unemployed Iowans can sympathize and the scientific community is united in that fact.

Now he wants to be rehired?

What does he say are his accomplishments?

Culver touted the state’s record on stem cell research, marriage equality, renewable energy, disaster recovery, preschool and balancing the budget.

What did he do about Marriage Equality?

He went back on his word -- In January 2008, Culver told reporters he would "do whatever it takes" to seek a quick response in the Legislature if the Iowa Supreme Court ruled to legalize gay marriage.

Balancing the budget?

It's something he's required by law to do.

The BLN's campaign stumbled as it hit the ground running Saturday.

Culver stop in Newton today cancelled

At 1:20 p.m., it was announced that the Culver campaign canceled the 3:30 p.m. campaign event without stating why.

Turns out the job took away from the good times, as the office scheduled the gov in Cedar Rapids at 1:30 for an official governor's event there. By the way, it's about a 1 1/2 hour drive to Newton from C.R.

Fun!
