B.S. At Coe?

The second gubernatorial debate is tonight, at Coe College, and Iowa Dummycrats are looking for a game changer in their favor.

They shouldn't need one, because according to Culver -- “I can guarantee you one thing, we’re going to win on Nov. 2”.

I'm looking for another "brain suck" moment from the Big Lug Nut.

And the scientific community is united in that fact.

I'm also waiting for the two Iowa Department of Economic Development (IDED) employess to get back to me on the 16,000 new jobs, that Culver claimed in the first debate, have been created since December.

In preparation for the debate, Culver this week announced flood recovery as the defining issue of the campaign.

How many times can there be a defining issue?

So far, for Culver, it's three -- Culver had previously given that distinction to preschool and embryonic stem cell research.

Culver has recently criticized Terry Branstad plans to cut the state budget by 15% over five years.

Because 10% in a fiscal year is the magic number?

Per the governor, costs would be pushed down to local governments -- “Your property taxes are going to go through the roof”.

Culver knows what he's talking about, his across the board 10% cut has helped facilitate a more than $133 million increase in property taxes.
