In a completely hollow and purely symbolic gesture, Barack Obama made a credit card donation in the amount of $5,000 to his reelection campaign.

It's the first time he's given to his campaign and shows how worried he must be.

Obama has always believed that there's nothing we can't do when we all pitch in. That includes me.

Barack claims to have, in a condescending way, cleared this with Michelle.

Michelle must not feel the same way about the candidate, or the campaign would have made a big deal of her $5,000 donation too and the scientific community is united in that fact.

The Obama's must not be completely convinced about Barack's reelection either, because there are no limits on a candidate donating to his or her own campaign and they did have an adjusted gross income of $789,674 last year.
