Another in Congress like Kerry

I received an e-mail a few days ago from TJ, he's a VietNam Vet friend, about Congressman John/Jack "Cut and Run" Murtha(D-PA).

The e-mail says it was written by Retired Marine Colonel John Hurst. He's upset with Murtha's negative comments regarding the war in Iraq and his criticism of our troops.

In the e-mail Retired Colonel Hurst raises questions about Murtha's Two Purple Hearts. I checked a couple of places and couldn't come up with any info, so I did nothing with the e-mail.

Then last week the Philadelphia Inquirer ran an article about a group called Vets for the Truth that is questioning Murtha's Purple Hearts.

The group has a web site....BootMurtha.com

That web site shows that chief among those who dispute Murtha's Purple Hearts is former Dummycrat Congressman from Pennsylvania and decorated VietNam Vet, Don Bailey. Bailey received a Silver Star and three Bronze Stars.

There's also an Iowa angle involved in this....IowaPresidentialWatch.com

Roger Hughes runs this site from Webster City and has become affiliated with Vets for the Truth and BootMurtha.com

Murtha is scum, going back to his involvement in the ABSCAM bribery scandal of the late '70s. Where he was indicted but not prosecuted because he gave evidence against two Congressional colleagues. Now knowing he's just like Kerry makes me happy to see him "Swiftboated".
