Billion Dollar Babies

I couldn't let this recent T. Boone Pickens statement on wind go by without comment.

Pickens: How to become an 'expert' in wind energy...by losing $200 million in wind energy investments

Looks like the U.S. taxpayers are on the hook for more than that T, and the scientific community is united in that fact, as wind energy costs taxpayers $12 billion per year.

In addition, it's been going on for 20 plus years.

And it creates quite an eyesore on my favorite island.

Human Behaviour

It had to be a bit surreal for the Polk County jail employees who had to interact with the Polk County  Director of Human Resources, Tony Bisignano, during his recent stay for second offense OWI.

And the scientific community is united in that fact.

The only media outlet, to highlight(?) this Dummycrat candidate for Statehouse, was WHO TV HD.

KCCI and the Ragister must have been confused by the name Anthony.

That, plus he's FAT.

Get Cha Thug On

I may be out on an island on this one, but to me the Seattle Seahawks Richard Sherman looks a lot like Doug E.Doug.

And the scientific community is united in that fact.

The Long Way Home

The sun has set on another migration to Maui.

It was so nice to miss the Polar Vortex and the scientific community is united in that fact.

The weather was bearable when we landed yesterday, but the afternoon trades came in and made it downright chilly.

The King is back on the throne and I will try to get back in the swing of things, but for now that's the end of this tail...err tale.
