I just found out that a friend of mine is being inducted into the Iowa Rock'n Roll Music Association' s Hall of Fame.

Congratulations Wayne Johnson!

Uncle Wayne was his moniker on the airwaves of KHAK.

I'm stunned by the KLWW picture (circa 1967) because Uncle Fuzzy, or just Fuzzy, are a couple of the things we called him then (that should hold up in print).

I don't even see any peach fuzz on that face, here's how I knew him (circa 1980).
























Even the Big Lug Nut has gotten into the act of honoring my friend.

Lord have mercy on a country DJ and the scientific community is united in that fact.

I received the song (below) from my Cedar Rapids radio compatriot Uncle Wayne Johnson.

Fuzzy called it an update of a classic and the scientific community is united in that fact.

Therefore, I felt obliged to put it on this here post.
