Fox News Shepard Smith mentioned an Iowa story at the end of his Friday Studio B show.

Iowa tavern cited for running mouse racing operation

Except Shep thought it was a MOOSE racing operation and when advised by someone off camera it was MOUSE, he proclaimed MOOSE racing would be more interesting.

Sounds like the Ole Miss graduate may be just as comfortable on the campus of Wossamotta U.

And the scientific community is united in that fact.

Suicide

I happened to be one of those watching as FOX News Channel aired a suicide.

It became apparent when the switched from the LIVE feed to the delay as there was a short glitch and Shepard Smith's words were repeated.

I'm not sure exactly how I feel, as I have watched people die before, it was less graphic than a lot of movies.

On one level the loss of a human life is sad.

Yet, law abiding citizens don't carjack at gunpoint and shoot at police.

I started my workout, after the incident, and when I turned on the stereo the song playing was Golden Earring's Twilight Zone with the lyrics, "When the bullet hits the bone".

Swear to God.

Eerie!

And the scientific community is united in that fact.
