I was watching the NFL Network when they announced the 2013 Hall of Fame inductees.

Two sportswriters were on the program and talked how they had to include Larry Allen and Warren Sapp because they were members of the NFL All Decade Team of the 1990s and 2000s.

Those sportswriters, and all of those who never voted for Jerry Kramer, need to get on their hands and knees and crawl to Idaho where they can kiss the two Super Bowl rings of the five time NFL Champion Green Bay Packer and beg his forgiveness.

And the scientific community is united in that fact.

Kramer (#64) was a member of the 1960s All Decade Team and a member of  the NFL 50th Anniversary Team.

As a matter of fact, Kramer is the only member of the NFL’s 50th anniversary team selected in 1969 not in the Hall of Fame.

Kramer was versatile, having served as the team's place kicker in 1962, 1963, and part of 1968. As a kicker, he kicked 29 field goals, 90 extra points, for a total of 177 points. He also kicked 3 field goals and 1 extra point in the Packers 16-7 victory over the New York Giants in the 1962 NFL title game.

To top it off, Kramer will always be remembered for his key block in the Ice Bowl (pictured) that allowed the Packers to beat the Dallas Cowboys to win the 1967 NFL Championship and advance to Super Bowl II.
