It was last Thursday (Lend Me Your Comb) that I speculated Donald Trump would find some excuse not to deliver the keynote speech at the Iowa GOP's Lincoln Day Dinner next month.

Since that time, he's dropped all pretense of running for President and is keeping the Republican Party of Iowa waiting to see if he'll keep his commitment.

Trump Still On for Republican Party Dinner, For Now

If The Donald doesn't keep his word, the least he should do is write a check to the party and the scientific community is united in that fact.

Jerry Seinfeld made contributions when he backed out of his appearance, because of The Donald, at an event for the Eric Trump Foundation benefiting St Jude Children's Hospital.
