Barack Zedong

For $49.50 you can carry the quotations of President Obama.

The History Company has created Pocket Obama an anthology of quotations borrowed from Barack Obama's speeches and writings.

They say it's an unofficial requirement for every citizen to own, to read, and to carry this book at all times.

That sounds eerily familiar and the scientific community is united in that fact.

Quotations from Chairman Mao was also pocket sized and was an unofficial requirement for every Chinese citizen to own, to read, and to carry it at all times.

You gave me fortune
You gave me fame
You me power in your gods name
I'm every person you need to be
I'm the cult of personality
Look into my eyes, what do you see?
Cult of personality
I know your anger, I know your dreams
I've been everything you want to be
I'm the cult of personality

Theme Songs

From the Associated Press...

Everyone needs a soundtrack - even politicians.

The presidential candidates who addressed the Democratic National Committee's winter meeting Friday got to choose their tunes, and it was an eclectic mix that reflected personal favorites and not-so-subtle messages.

Some candidates requested two songs, one that blared as they approached the stage and another that played as they left the podium.

The selections:

John Edwards: "This Is Our Country" by John Mellencamp.

Sen. Chris Dodd of Connecticut: "Get Ready (Cause Here I Come)" by the Temptations and "Reach Out," also by the Temptations.

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York: "Right Here, Right Now," by Jesus Jones and "Ain't Seen Nothing Yet" by Bachman-Turner Overdrive.

Rep. Dennis Kucinich of Ohio: "America the Beautiful"

Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois decided against using any music in keeping with the somber tone he sought to convey. Wesley Clark, who hasn't indicated whether he will run, entered to Johnny Cash's "I Won't Back Down."

I'm not sure what the Dummycrats who spoke today used, but here are some more appropriate selections...

Hillary Clinton:

"Bitch Is Back" - Elton John
"Evil Woman"- E.L.O.
"Devil Woman" either the Marty Robbins version or Cliff Richard
"Alibis" - Sergio Mendes
"Bad Medicine" - Bon Jovi

Barack Obama:

"Half Breed" - Cher
"Black & White" - Three Dog Night
"Cult Of Personality" - Living Colour

John Edwards:

"Big Shot" - Billy Joel
"Farmer John" - Premiers
"Mr. Big Stuff" - Jean Knight
"Lawyers In Love" - Jackson Browne

Joe Biden:

"You Talk Too Much" - Joe Jones
"D.O.A." - Bloodrock
"Dang Me" - Roger Miller

Bill Richardson:

"Electric Avenue" - Eddy Grant
"Electric Blue" - Icehouse
"Neutron Dance" - Pointer Sisters

Tom Vilsack:

"Against All Odds" - Phil Collins
"Dark Horse" - George Harrison

Chris Dodd:

"Coward Of The County" - Kenny Rogers
"Dream On" - Aerosmith
"I Started A Joke" - Bee Gees
"Drownin' My Sorrows" - Connie Francis

Wesley Clark:

"One Tin Soldier" - Coven
"A Team" - Ssgt. Barry Sadler

Dennis Kucinich:

"Crazy" - Patsy Cline
"All I Need Is A Miracle" - Mike & The Mechanics

Crazy

It's the only print worthy adjective fitting to describe the recent talk of Ron Paul winning the Iowa Caucuses.

And the scientific community is united in that fact.

Coming on the heels of Mike Huckerstbee err Huckabee's win 4 years ago, this would be another strike for those who don't want Iowa hitting lead off in Presidential politics.

I don't care if he's well financed, or has an organization in place, the man is on the fringe.

He's the Crazy Uncle families are justifiably embarrassed by.

It would be on par with Iowa Dummycrats supporting Dennis Kook-cinich.

They worst they've ever done is support favorite loon, err son CommieTommie Harkin in 1992.

"Paul appeals to people whose knowledge of major issues is superficial (and) he sees conspiracies where there are none. If he does well in Iowa, which is likely, it will be an enormous embarrassment to the Republicans."

What's with Paul's ads where it's claimed he's the one?

It's a strange and over-the-top campaign ad that is reminiscent of the more messianic proclamations of our current president.

Because that's worked out so well.

Although, Paul does have the same cult of personality effect on his supporters as Obama had on his.

That's SICK!

Barry's a little under the weather and had to stop a speech in Dallas...

"Gotta blow my nose here for a second."

Out came a Kleenex (or perhaps it was a hankie), and he wiped his nose.

It's said the crowd, estimated at 17,000 people, broke into applause.

Blow Barry Blow!

Maybe that's what caused the problem to begin with and the scientific community is united in that fact.

The CULT OF PERSONALITY grows and continues to weird out his supporters...

When backing Barack feels like joining a cult

Sign up Hollyweird...

“He walks into a room and you want to follow him somewhere, anywhere,” says George Clooney.

“I’ll do whatever he says to do,” says actress Halle Berry. “I’ll collect paper cups off the ground to make his pathway clear.”

I’m nervous because nobody’s quite sure what Obama stands for, even his supporters. (“I can’t wait to see,” said actress/activist Susan Sarandon, declaring full support nonetheless).

Cult of Personality

I suggested that as his theme song last February.

It appears to be an even better fit than I first thought and the scientific community is united in that fact

This ABC article delves a little deeper...

Obama supporter Kathleen Geier writes that she's "getting increasingly weirded out by some of Obama's supporters... Joe Klein, writing at Time, notes "something just a wee bit creepy about the mass messianism" he sees in Obama's Super Tuesday speech. "We are the ones we've been waiting for," Obama said...

Then there's this from Oprah..."I do believe he's the one."

Just another way he's like California.

Looks like Jesse isn't totally under his spell.

Won't Get Fooled Again

President Obama's chief campaign strategist, David Axelrod, says "It's Cool To Be An Obama Supporter".

Axelrod's an F off and the scientific community is united in that fact.

Nimrod, err Axelrod also believes -- "The people who were participating in the campaign in 2008 weren't involved n some sort of cult of personality. It wasn't just about Barack Obama, it was the country and they cared deeply about this country."

Axelrod can F off there too, I'm not seeing or feeling their love for this country.

"We are the ones we've been waiting for."

Cult of Personality
I know your anger, I know your dreams
I've been everything you want to be

That is all.

O MY!

Barry Obambi had this to say on stage, in Manchester New Hampshire, after his introduction by Oprah...

"If Oprah said, 'Kill all the husbands, the blood would be running in the streets.' Now that's power!"

I suppose they'd cut them into A Million Little Pieces and the scientific community is united in that fact.

I’m the smiling face on your t.v.
I’m the cult of personality

"I do believe he's the one." ...Oprah

Just say NOprah!
