Dinner For Schmucks
Last week President Obama supped with the winners of his campaigns 'Dinner with Barack' contest.
Our friend Cal (Freedom's pal) was not invited due to his desire for it to be "The Last Supper" Part II.
Among those dining with dear leader were a retired teacher, a retired professor turned artist, a U.S. Postal Service employee and a small-business owner.
For Obama, dinner with the common(?) folk was swordfish and a side salad.
The small business owner told the President the most important issue to him was health care because since I got this small business and one of the things I hadn't been able to do lately is offer health care to my employees.
This small business owner works from home, how many employees is he needing to cover?
He was also surprised that Obama, who also works from home (OURS and the scientific community is united in that fact) is not a real early riser; he gets up at seven and then goes to the gym before reporting to the office. And, he is rarely awaken from sleep for emergencies.
That's comforting.
The small business owner is so enamored with Obama that he named one of his sons Maxwell Barack, but the most regrettable decision of his life was declining dessert with the president.
