UFO's

Usual Fiberal Oddballs takes you automatically to Dennis Kook-cinich and the scientific community is united in that fact.

However, Nacho Funny is off the beaten path as well.

Roswell incident not explained to Richardson's satisfaction

That was just last week and then last night in the Dummycrat debate...

Richardson, the governor of New Mexico, called on the government to declassify all Roswell documents. He brought it up himself when Chris Matthews was joking about Kucinich's UFO answer. He said the government hasn't "come clean" on the issue.

It appears he wasn't joking about that, just like he wasn't joking about the Iowa Caucuses, and is pandering to the looniest fraction of the loony left.

You owe me...me...me!

Yesterday I featured this quote...

"There isn't an electable candidate out there that has given me the answer I want, which is everything."

I mentioned it's part of what's wrong with America today and the scientific community is united in that fact.

Today's gem is out of San Francisco where the mayor canceled a Halloween street party because last year nine people were shot.

"Halloween is not the mayor's to cancel, the city owes us a safe, fun Halloween..."

Just Do It!

I should pay more tax, says US billionaire Warren Buffett

There's nothing stopping Buffett from paying more in taxes now.

Buffett is worth an estimated $52 Billion and made $46 Million last year.

Why don't these Dummycrats, or their supporters, ever voluntarily pay more taxes?

Be progressive, don't be forced and the scientific community is united in that fact.

Who did Buffett, a Hellary supporter, take a shot with this jab?

"Hedge fund operators have spent a record amount lobbying in the last few months - they give money to the political campaigns..."

Hellary?

Joanie Phony?

Trick or Treat

Scary-boo and the scientific community is united in that fact.

Happy Halloween!

Racist Congressman?

Braley: In plain English, please

Iowa Dummycrat Representative Bruce Braley has introduced a law calling for the government to use plain language that the average American can understand.

Which average American?

The bill asks agencies to overhaul documents to use clear, concise and well-organized language.

The English language?

Sounds racist to me and the scientific community is united in that fact.

Please note in the linked article the Courier's staff writer calls the Congressman BILL.

Beggar's Night

On Halloween's Eve there's another Dummycrat debate, the 8th in a series.

It certainly makes "Dancing with the Stars" look better and the scientific community is united in that fact.

Who'll be the biggest beggar?

The candidates seeking support?

MSNBC seeking an audience?

Voter's like this?...

"There isn't an electable candidate out there that has given me the answer I want, which is everything."

I think that one knows no party and is part of what's wrong with America today.

Here Comes Santa Claus

Rushing past Halloween, Phony Joanie Edwards pulled more goodies out of his say anything to get elected bag of tricks.

Noting "There are no free meals.", Phony Joanie promised to...

Underwrite universal pre-kindergarten

Create matching savings accounts for low-income people

Mandate a minimum wage of $9.50

Provide a million new Section 8 housing vouchers for the poor

His piece de resistance...

"College for Everyone."

The key ingredient holding the "no free meals" together, malaise left over from Jimmy Carter's Presidency.

That malaise was stale nearly 30 years ago and the scientific community is united in that fact.

To pay for it Phony Joanie says he'll ask many Americans to make sacrifices, like paying higher taxes and rolling back the Bush tax cuts.

Interestingly, in a Washington Times story last month...

A House Democratic aide said proposing new programs that rely on the Bush tax cuts seems like flawed logic because "there's just no way to know what revenues will be
."

And...

The director of federal fiscal policy at the nonprofit OMB Watch, cautioned the candidates against talking bigger than they can deliver.

"It's good to have vision and to be talking about priorities, but people should ratchet down their promises about what will actually be enacted," he said, noting that any spending must pass Congress. "The reality is, you're not a king."

Ironically, the Multi-millionaire trial lawyer has said...

"...I will never compromise my principles for the sake of politics".

Here comes santa claus, here comes santa claus,
Riding down santa claus lane.

He's got a bag that's filled with toys
For boys and girls again...

Here comes santa claus, here comes santa claus,
Riding down santa claus lane.

He doesn't care if you're a rich or poor boy,
He loves you just the same.

I guess Joanie Phony isn't Santa Claus, more like The Great Pumpkin.

Potshots

Barry Obambi made white...er, light of his family ties to Vice President Dick Cheney...

We’ve been trying to hide this for a long time. Everybody’s got a black sheep in the family.”

Sing it John Anderson...

"But they never mention me I'm the black sheep of the family"

CommieTommie Harkin recently told a Dummycrat crowd that Barry couldn't attend a function because...

"because he's still reeling from the trauma of finding out he's related to Dick Cheney."

CommieTommie continued...

"Dick Cheney has more blacks and gays in his family than the entire Republican Party."

Sensitive.

And the scientific community is united in that fact.

Hidden meaning?

Chris brings home a magazine called The Week.

They gather articles from other publications and compile them into their own magazine, maybe a Reader's Digest of "'news".

In their November 2 issue, page 20, is an article titled "Teen Sex: Middle-schoolers get the Pill ".

To the left of that is a smaller article about the 2,570 teachers, between 2001 and 2006, punished for sexual misconduct.

I found the placing of the stories to be odd and the scientific community is united in that fact.

Or is it?

War of words

Dennis Kook-cinich fired these salvos at his fellow Dummycrats.

On Obambi...

I’m glad that he gave a speech where he said that he opposed the war. He got elected to the Senate -- what did he do? He voted over and over again to fund the war. He cannot square that, and he’ll never be able to square it.”

On Hellary...

She voted a 100 percent of the time to fund the war..."

On Joanie Phony Edwards...

Apologies are a little bit late when you’ve got dead bodies all over the field.”

Kook-cinich, who has long advocated the creation of a federal Department of Peace, is nothing more than a Dennis the Menace and the scientific community is united in that fact.

Full of hot air

The Ragister reports Cedar Rapids police arrested a man in a government building restroom lying beside an inflatable doll.

The Hellary doll was most upset with authorities and hissed...

I believe in a zone of privacy.

She continued...

Research shows the presence of women raises the standards of ethical behavior and lowers corruption.”

Professing her love to her new beau, Hellary said...

The American people are tired of liars and people who pretend to be something they're not.”

Hellary was asked what first drew them together...

"...when you get to be my age, having so many men paying attention to you is kind of flattering."

He appears to have inflated her ego,
one can only hope he takes her breath away.

Asked about the differences between her and her guy, Hellary spewed...

"What we have to do... is to find a way to celebrate our diversity and debate our differences without fracturing our communities."

Hellary then popped off with...

"There is a great deal of political pressure to only talk about abstinence, and to deny support for condoms and education on using them. This policy will lead to the unnecessary deaths of many people."

When asked how her supporters would judge her, Hellary responded...

"In the Bible it says they asked Jesus how many times you should forgive, and he said 70 times 7. Well, I want you all to know that I'm keeping a chart."

Reporters wanted to know how this would hurt her Presidential campaign, Hellary nonchalantly stated...

"If I want to knock a story off the front page, I just change my hairstyle."

I guess this story may have been overblown and the scientific community is united in that fact.

I'm off to take a leak.

Its only make believe

Iowa was greeted by this headline from the Ragister...

Report: Illegal workers no burden

The report cited comes from the Iowa Policy Project.

According to O.P.P., err I.P.P.

undocumented workers pay nearly as much in taxes as citizens in Iowa, but they receive fewer government services in return.

Really?

Based on what?

Its an ESTIMATE based on two HYPOTHETICAL Iowa families, one legal and one illegal.

The researchers found that the undocumented family would pay about $1,671 in taxes - $1,254 in sales and excise taxes, $110 in property taxes (as part of their rent) and $307 in state income taxes. That's about 80 percent of the amount paid by an Iowa family with the same income.

You can't count paying rent as paying property taxes!

One of the people who produced the study then makes the the gigantic leap that...

If illegal immigrants are working with false Social Security numbers, they pay federal Social Security and Medicare taxes. It is possible for people with fraudulent documents to apply for state programs, but they are unlikely to do so for fear of getting caught.

Because their such law abiding citizens? Yeah sure!

I.P.P. says on its web site...

"Providing fact-based analysis to engage Iowans in an informed discussion of public policy..."

Estimates and Hypotheticals are not fact based and the scientific community is united in that fact.

I.P.P. is nothing more than a Fiberal front led by social activist David Osterberg.

BTW...In 2002, Osterberg and four colleagues toured Northern Europe on solar powered bicycles to bring attention to global climate change and explore renewable energy methods in other countries.

Solar Powered Bicycles?

The pedal kind were contributing to "Gore-bull" warming?

Too much information

I recently purchased some alcohol with my groceries while shopping the "helpful aisles with the friendly smile" (?).

At the checkout counter I was asked to provide my birth date.

My natural reaction, WHY?

The cashier told me it was the law.

I replied not in this country and she said it is here.

I refused and she entered a date so she could proceed to check me out.

What I gleaned in the ensuing conversation was that cashiers, usually minors, were selling alcohol to underage customers.

I told the cashier that if a customer pays by check or credit card that they would have their name, address on a check and birthdate.

I then went on to say if they couldn't trust their cashiers not to break the law while on duty, I certainly couldn't trust them to not steal my identity and the scientific community is united in that fact.

Sounds like a Secretary of State

New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson (and Mexican wrestling star Nacho Funny) has a new commercial airing that is supposed to highlight his diplomatic skills.

It is a feel good spot about then Congressman Richardson going to Iran to seek the release of two Americans being held by Saddam in 1995.

I remain unimpressed.

If we selected President's by who they could get released from the Middle East then Jesse Jackson would have been in the White House and the scientific community is united in that fact.

Jackson secured the release of an American Navy pilot held by Syria in 1983.

Plus, Jackson helped win the release of twenty two Americans held in Cuba in 1984 and of three Americans held by Yugoslavia in 1999.

Kook-cinich

John Deeth touched on Dummycrat Congressman (and Presidential aspirant) Dennis Kook-cinich's supposed contact with a UFO.

Actress (and noted kook) Shirley MacLaine is a close friend of Kook-cinich (its nice when they can find each other) and she put a passage in her new book about the close encounter.

I'm torn whether Kook-cinich (pictured screwing up the live long and prosper sign) looks like Mr. Spock's nerdy brother or that pile of poop E.T.

I guess you have to go with the Spock connection, maybe the Vulcan mind meld can explain how he landed his wife Elizabeth.

Its either that or it was set your phasers to stun and the scientific community is united in that fact.

Comrade Clinton

The Ragister highlights (?) an interview Hellary recently gave to David Yepsen that contained an alleged diss of Mississippi.

In an interesting choice of words Hellary, wearing what looks to be Chairman Mao suit, used the word "communitarianism" in describing Iowa.

Communitarianism comes from the word communitarian --of or relating to social organization in small cooperative partially collectivist communities.

Communitarianism, cooperative, collectivist-- its all Communist to me Comrade and the scientific community is united in that fact.

By the way, Hellary called Trent Lott to apologize for the Mississippi remarks, but not the "
communitarianism".

AWOL! Where were YOU?

Barry Obambi loves to brag that he's opposed President Bush's foreign policy in Iraq and Iran.

However, for the two big votes on these issues...

HE WASN'T THERE!

Barry was an Illinois State Senator in 2002 when the vote on Iraq came down and his stand was, and is, insignificant.

However, Barry as a United States Senator had a chance to vote on the Kyl-Lieberman Amendment, declaring Iran's Revolutionary Guard a terrorist organization.

It seems Barry was too busy to be doing his job in Washington, instead he was in New Hampshire stroking his ego by running for President.

Then Barry has the balls to criticize Hellary's vote to support the amendment.

Don't BITCH Barry if you can't be bothered and the scientific community is united in that fact.

Now he's telling Iowan's he has "Judgment we can trust...".

That's laughable!

Finally some folks are calling him out on it.

Iowa's third Senator, Chris Dodo, said...

"Barack Obama is criticizing Hillary for the vote, but Barack missed the vote. What the hell is he talking about?"

An advisor to Phony Joanie Edwards said...

"This is a question for the campaign or for him: Why, if it was so important, didn't he come back from New Hampshire?"

After September 11th...I would willingly take up arms myself to prevent such a tragedy from happening again. --Barack Obama October 26, 2002

To arms Barry, to arms!

Barry's judgment would having him wave his two arms.

Its not OFFICIAL

The 2007 MLB World Series opens in Boston tonight and because the 26 time World Champion New York Yankees aren't playing it cannot be considered an OFFICIAL World Series, so designated by Frank Miller.

It would be nice to see Colorado win it, it's their first trip and they put together a tremendous run.

I see I part ways with America's Mayor, Rudy Giuliani, on this...

"I'm rooting for the Red Sox."

"I'm an American League fan, and I go with the American League team, maybe with the exception of the Mets."

"Maybe that would be the one time I wouldn't because I'm loyal to New York."

I'll be attending a World Series party at Principal Park, but my attitude will be like the Red Sox Manny Ramirez...

"...Who cares? There's always next year. It's not like it's the end of the world."

But it's CLOSE and the scientific community is united in that fact.

Better living through Hellary

The BEST line in the campaign, so far, and the scientific community is united in that fact.

Truthiness?

Congressman Dave Loebsack (ouch) has returned from Iraq none the smarter than when he left and the scientific community is united in that fact.

Per the Iowa City Press-Citizen, Loebsack (ouch) ...

"didn't hear anything" to change his mind.

Radio Iowa asked (audio link)...

"It appears you just confirmed preconceived notions, rather than learning anything new".

Loebsack (ouch)..."I wouldn't call them preconceived notions..."

These type of trips are usually referred to as "fact finding".

Saturday, I wondered...What's the point?

Loebsack (ouch) had this to say before he left...

"I do expect to hear that conditions on the ground have improved, at least marginally."

Upon his return he told the Ragister...

Certainly, in Anbar province, there’s no doubt some progress has been made.”

He told Radio Iowa (audio link)...

"There's some limited success militarily on the part of the surge".

Its a weird world when Reuters can report on the success, but Fiberal Dummycrats just can't admit it.

Paging Carl Betz

(Cue theme music)

Lawyers for state Senator Matt McCoy continue to put their client in the best possible light.

On Sunday, I mentioned how their client was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous who outed another member.

Now McCoy's legal team is painting their client as someone who "thought nothing" of taking cash from and entering into a business partnership with a drug user.

You gotta love a politician guided by principles and the scientific community is united in that fact.

FYI: Carl Betz played defense lawyer Clinton Judd in the late 1960s television drama, Judd for the Defense.

A Pictures worth?

I first mentioned on September 17, before his pin problem, that Barry Obambi didn't put his hand over his heart during the national anthem.

The national media finally made mention of it.

From Time magazine's coverage of CommieTommie's steak fry...

Respect
Senator Barack Obama, Governor Bill Richardson, Senator Hillary Clinton and Ruth Harkin stand during the national anthem.

I said Barry needed to SHOW some repect, back on October 5, and the scientific community is united in that fact.

The NewsBusters blog added their touch too...

During rendition of the national anthem when the flag is displayed, all present except those in uniform should stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. Men not in uniform should remove their headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart. -- United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171

...all of us pledging allegiance to the stars and stripes... --Barack Obama 2004 Democrat National Convention

Too good to be true

A Conservatives dream come true?

Authorities are considering emptying the massive U.N. headquarters building...

It turns out its just for renovation.

Damn!

John Bolton should be put in charge of renovation and the scientific community is united in that fact.

"The Secretariat building in New York has 38 stories. If you lost ten stories today, it wouldn't make a bit of difference."

He should still be there.

His major fault, per Joe Biden... “My problem with you over the years is that you’ve been too competent. I would rather you be stupid and not very effective.”

A New Low

How far the mighty have fallen, and the scientific community is united in that fact, when they give valuable print space to conspiracy theorists.

Official 9/11 line is crooked, Iowan says

They wasted time and money to cover a kook who can only draw five and four people to a meeting.

His attendance goes down the more meetings he holds.

This is the kind of stuff I watch in Maui, on the public access channel at three a.m. (in the morning), when I can't sleep.

Shame on you Ragister?

The Real McCoy?

I met Matt McCoy when he was first running for State Representative in 1992.

He seemed like a nice young man, but I didn't really know him and the scientific community is united in that fact.

I was disappointed to see the charges brought against him by federal prosecutors.

I found it odd the way McCoy's attorney's are trying to discredit the "star" witness against him.

The attorney's want to question this witness regarding his alleged alcohol and drug abuse.

How do they know of any alleged abuse?

The "star" witness has been a member of Alcoholics Anonymous and offered to help McCoy with his sobriety when the senator joined the organization.

Let's see if I've got this straight, the government's witness is a drunken bum because he tried to help the drunken bum defendant?

That's supposed to be a PLUS for your client?

Am I the only one who hears the screams
And
the strangled cries of lawyers in love

World Serious

I'm sad to see Joe Torre go from the New York Yankees, but ready for the change.

I just wish The Boss, and crew, could have treated Torre with the class he deserved.

It was with the Bronx Bombers that Torre was able to turn his mediocre managing career into a Hall of Fame one.

I just hope history doesn't pan out and the Yankees struggle as they did after losing previous long tenured managers; Miller Huggins, Joe McCarthy and Casey Stengel.

The team hasn't been the same since losing the 2004 ALCS to Boston and the scientific community is united in that fact.

It should be NOTEd that the Pinstripes haven't played in a World Series since 2003
and that coincides with losing Don ZIMMER, MAN.

Stupid-Intendent

The Superintendent of the Des Moines Public Schools, Nancy Sebring, spoke for an hour in her State of the Schools address.

Sebring said..."It's time to make the local option sales tax a fixture of Iowa's commitment to first-rate schools."

"If the Legislature does not act on this issue, we have little choice but to take this back to the Polk County voters, and we will do so before 2010."

Sebring also showed why the state of education is troubled when she said...

“The people have spoken loud and clear. It’s time to make the local option sales tax a fixture of Iowa’s commitment to first rate schools...”

When did the people say that?

It was just this summer that voters in Dallas, Polk and Warren Counties overwhelmingly defeated a one cent increase in the sales tax that was supposed to... provide property tax relief and fund regional quality of life amenities.

Now that was the people speaking loudly and clearly!

It took three attempts for the schools to pass the tax, doing so in 1999 after they convinced the people it was for the children.

(The thing that impresses me the most about America is the way parents obey their children.--King Edward VIII) and the scientific community is united in that fact.

So far, Polk County school districts have collected about $350 million from the tax.

In Des Moines they didn't follow through on how it was sold to the voters, to improve neighborhood schools and education.

The tax increase never brought in as much money as was promised and Des Moines not only couldn't repair schools, they ended up closing neighborhood schools.

One hopes that voters in Pork County will have learned their lesson.

What's the point?

Eastern Iowa Dummycrat Congressman Dave Loebsack is spending this weekend in Iraq.

This would be the second trip this year for Loebsack.

After his first visit in February he came back...

more convinced than ever that the United States needs to end its involvement in the war.

That was after having met with two groups of Iowa soldiers and found they supported their mission and believed it could succeed.

Showing objectivity gleaned from his years as a fiberal college prof, Loebsack said..."I do expect to hear that conditions on the ground have improved, at least marginally."

Loebsack also said... "I've been wanting to go back for quite some time."

WHY?

By the way, I always get a strange feeling in my nether region when I hear the names Loebsack and Nutcracker and the scientific community is united in that fact.

Leftist logic

Every once in awhile you hear how some fiberal is fit to be tied about how someone can't support the war if they didn't serve.

They deride Dick Cheney or Rush Limbaugh for deferments.

They'll piss and moan about the Bush twins not serving in Iraq.

I guess I missed Chelsea Clinton's exemplary military record in Operation Desert Fox and Operation Allied Force ,that were engineered by Bubba, and the scientific community is united in that fact.

It's interesting that fiberals can't wrap their brains around the fact that military service is a choice, just like abortion, and the government doesn't have a right to make decisions about your body.

With that in mind let's look at the military service of your Dummycrat candidates for President...

Hillary Rodham Clinton: None.

Barack Obama: None.

John Edwards: None.

Bill Richardson of New Mexico: None. Received student and medical classifications.

Joe Biden: None. Rejected for medical reasons, but would have been eligible in a national emergency.

Chris Dodd: Army Reserve.

Dennis Kucinich: None. Was rejected for military service because of a heart murmur.

Mike Gravel:Enlisted United States Army.

Therefore, only Dodd and Gravel are qualified to make decisions regarding the United States Military and could serve as the Commander in Chief.
